Meet Moseley
Meet Moseley - also known by as Mo! He needs a rural home with no men and no dogs unfortunately. He just cannot seem to trust men in his home, no matter how hard they try.
He's a 95-lb., almost 5 year-old Great Dane/Lab mix who's a real sweetheart with women that he trusts. However, he is afraid of men and does not do well with dogs unless he is in a structured daycare situation.
He loves car rides and is very well-behaved in the car. He's housetrained and neutered.
He's an adorable couch potato most of the time, but when he knows it's time to go for a hike or a run, he's up and ready.
He is totally fine home alone while his people work, and he has great behavior alone in the house.
Mo absolutely loves going to doggie daycare and playing with other dogs there.
Other than that, he's a gentle, confident, happy and loving boy who loves to cuddle on the bed and the couch.
His people feel he'd do best in a quiet location with a big yard or fenced acreage to run around in. For that reason we're saying that Mo's ideal home would be in a rural setting as the only dog on the property. He has not done well with the resident dogs in his foster to adopt, and for that reason they are not keeping him. He also is fearful of men and does not seem to acclimate even with patience and time. Mo is unfortunately quite damaged.
We're saying No Young Kids with Mo, but he's good with female teenagers.
Moseley's adoption fee is being covered by his guardian who is surrendering him. We are just looking for a great home for Mo... so his adoption fee is whatever you'd feel you can donate, if you are approved.
For more info and/or to apply to adopt Mo, fill out our Dog Application and send it in. A volunteer from Summit Dog Rescue will get back to you as soon as they can.
