SDR's Mission​

        *Save the lives of dogs and cats in need 
*Educate the public about humane training methods 
*Provide resources for low cost spay/neuter in underserved areas

We are a different kind of dog rescue.

We have an indepth   process and a team who work with our dogs and then with their potential adopters. 

 We are closely  involved with our dogs and our adopters in order to create successful, forever placements. 

We don't do high volume adoptions;   rather, we focus on careful, successful placements with support for our adopters and dogs.

Also, a  portion of every adoption fee goes to spay/neuter a pet  in need in underserved areas of  Colorado.
