Meet Zippy - adopted
Hi! I'm Zippy! I was rescued out of an awkward situation due to an embarrassing Chicken Incident (see below), but I'm really a great guy with a live and learn philosophy, and I'm ready to turn over a new leaf! (Just keep me away from chickens.)
Here's what my awesome rescuer Cheryl has to say about me:
"I have a nice little Heeler [21 lbs] male, just a year old. His name is Zippy. He was put on a 5 foot chain once he started killing chickens, no shelter, in the rain. Zippy has been raised around kids, walks well on a leash, crate-trained, has been good in the house. He is good with other dogs and okay with cats. Zippy will fetch a ball. He just needs an active family."
If you want more info about me and/or to apply to adopt me, go to the top toolbar, click Adopt, click Dog Application; then fill it out and send it in. A nice volunteer from Summit Dog Rescue will get back to you as soon as they can.
