Meet Toby!
Toby is an 8-month-old purebred Chocolate Labrador. He’s extremely sweet and loves people and dogs. He takes about a minute to warm up to new people, and then he’s your best friend.
Like all adolescent American Labs, he has a lot of energy and needs someone who will take him on adventures in nature.
He’s a big sweet goofy boy who enjoys sniffing and (because he’s a smart guy) he also very much enjoys training.
Toby is good with free roam inside the house. He does go in the crate when he’s left alone and he’s house trained. He walks pretty well on the leash but he is still a big puppy.
His ideal home would be someone with time and energy to devote to this fun, loving puppy. He’s about 75 pounds and loves to play and have fun.
He’d do great with a resident dog to play with and to show him the ropes of being a dog; but another dog isn’t required as long as he could have a social life. Because Toby is so big and active, we’re saying no kids under 10, please and thanks.
Toby will definitely do better living along the foothills where he can hike on trails in nature or up in the mountains. He would not be a great candidate for city living.
