Meet Tessa - adopted!

Picture

Hi!  I’m Tessa!  I survived the big hurricane in Texas and some terrific people brought me here to Colorado (which I love!) and they’re now helping me find my forever home!

I’m 12 lbs. of cuteness and sweetness!  I’m extremely easy-going and good-natured, and I’m very affectionate and eager to please. I especially love being held in your lap! Or going for walks on the trails around Boulder with my people.

I love toys, too, and my favorite toy is my pull toy! In fact, I can play tug-a-war nonstop for half an hour, if someone can play with me!

I’m really smart and a quick learner. I love going on walks and I’ll be sure to remind you when it’s time to go. They tell me I have a good sense of what time it is, which is really cool!

I sleep well thorugh the night, and I’ll entertain myself once I wake up.

My ears are my best feature! When I hear a fascinating noise, they pop up like big wings on my head, which everybody says is totally adorable!

I love every soul including people and other critters! I’m not the least bit demanding, and I engage easily with others.

I’ve got the heart of a bigger dog, and that means I think I’m bigger than I really am.  I also like adventures in the car, and walks on local trails.

My foster peeps  say I’ve made myself right at home in a really good way!  I’m easy to love!

For more info about adopting me, go to the top toolbar, click Adopt, click Dog Application, then fill it out and send it in. A nice volunteer from Summit Dog Rescue will get back to you as soon as they can.
