Meet Tess - adopted!
Meet Tess— fun and loving!
This little lady has the prettiest speckled socks and has a heart of gold.
Tess is a pro at snuggling and cuddling, playing with doggie friends, taking walks and hiking. She attends doggie daycare two days a week and gets 5-paws-up for her great play skills! She likes playing with her furry foster brother, Huck, too.
Tess is about 18 months old, spayed, up to date on shots, heartworm negative and all around healthy, young doggie girl. We thinks she is a Lab/Pointer mix, which is perfect for the Colorado life.
Tess is around 50 lbs. --- an excellent size to hike, ride in the car or cuddle! She loves to hang out in the backyard at her foster home and watch the birds and bunnies go by. Tess is a happy, spirited soul who makes everyone smile!
Here's what Tess' awesome foster mom has to say about this great girl:
"Tess is very enthusiastic when her people come home. Her whole body wiggles! She's spring-loaded and very bouncy. But, she's a smart girl and is learning to keep four paws on the floor when she greets people.
"She has been quick to learn to stay off of human beds. She knows to sit for treats and food and we expect she will learn other tricks and manners quickly.
"Tess loves to play with people and with other dogs. She loves chewing on bones and LOVES squeaky toys. She's not protective of toys or food; we have never heard her growl. She's great at daycare -- she received an excellent report card on her first day!
"Tess can also be very quiet and pensive -- she loves looking out the window at animals. She could do this all morning. She does not beg at the dinner table; she knows to go entertain herself while people are eating meals.
"Tess has never had an accident in our house. She knows to sit by the back door when she needs to go outside.
"She mainly sleeps through the night, but she can be an early riser. We think she may still be on Central Time. :)
"We think Tess would thrive at a house with a yard so she can bounce around outside and watch wildlife. She would do well in a house with another dog who likes like to play and likes to snuggle.
"She likes to chase squirrels and rabbits, so Tess's new home probably should not have a cat or other non-dog pets.
"Tess is fun and cuddly! We know she will be a wonderful new family member."
