Meet Teddy Bear

Hi!  I'm Teddy Bear!  I'm brand new to Summit Dog Rescue and my foster peeps are learning more about me every day.  I'm a shy kinda guy and sometimes the busy world of people is overwhelming, but I'm getting really good reinforcement training and I'm making terrific progress.

They tell me I'm afraid of new people, so I need a quiet home and a well-fenced yard -- ideally a mountain home, or a home with easy access to quiet trails.

But hey -- I don't have a mean bone in my body. And my collar is really cool -- it's a GPS collar in case I ever escape so that my peeps can find me. 

I love other dogs and cats, and I'm extremely snuggly with my trusted people. I need a patient, loving, calm home.

I'm a big fan of homemade doggie meatloaf and hot dogs, and I love it when people feed me treats from their hands.
