Meet Sundance

Bacon enthusiast looking for a down to earth family who is looking for love for all the right reasons. I’m 4 ½ years young with the sweet, loyal-nature of a Golden Retriever, and the brains of a Border Collie. Enjoy long walks around the neighborhood or spending the day just getting lost in the mountains. Afterwards I’d love to just snuggle up with you on the couch for a good movie; I’ve been told I’m the perfect arm rest.

While I absolutely love people right away, dogs not so much. I just need slow introductions and maybe a hike or two to get used to a fellow four-legged comrade. As for cats, mom always said, ‘dogs rule, cats drool’! I’m not stubborn though and I’m learning some new training, so with more time, patience and lots of tasty treats (did I mention I like bacon?), I’ll get along with everyone (maybe even cats!) just fine.

Have a backyard? Perfect! I see plenty of warm summer nights together catching fire flies and hosting backyard BBQs in our future, don’t forget the bacon! Also, I am quite the bunny chaser so I’ll keep it green and pest free for you. My ideal day is with you of course but someone’s got to bring home the bacon, so don’t worry about me I’ll hold down the fort and settle for long naps, some day-time television and a good bone.

Happy with my life... but will be happier when it's our life!

You can find out more about me by going to the top toolbar, then click Adopt, then Dog Application, then fill it out and send it in. A nice volunteer from Summit Dog Rescue will get back to you as soon as they can.
