Meet Sue - going through heartworm treatment - adopted?
Hi! I'm Sue! I'm a an 8-year-old Lab mix born February 2012, and I weigh about 55 lbs. I'm super sweet and soon I'll be ready for all kinds of fun adventures and snuggles!
I'm housetrained, spayed, vetted, baby gate trained (just 'cuz I don't care for crates, please and thanks). Somewhere along the line I got heartworm, but I'm under some excellent treatment and will be ready for adoption in June 2020 - so mark your calendar!
My rescuers at Summit Dog Rescue have this to say: "Sue is great with small dogs, kids and cats! She is good with big dogs, too. (Excuse my high-pitched baby voice!) She's an 8 year old Labrador who was rescued from a life living outside in a backyard. Now she is living the good life in Boulder, getting tons of love and attention during the Covid outbreak. Sue has heartworm and so she is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and will be available for adoption in June 2020. Stay tuned."
I'm new to Summit Dog Rescue and they're learning more about me every day. In the meantime if you want more info and/or to apply to adopt me, go to the top toolbar, click Adopt, click Dog Application; then fill it out and send it in. A nice volunteer from SDR will get back to you as soon as they can.
