Meet Ruby - adopted

Picture

Ruby is a sweetheart who is looking for her forever family. She's a 3-year-old Lab mix who weighs 70 lbs. She's heartworm negative, spayed and up to date on all shots.

Ruby has been raised around dogs, cats and children. She is crate and house trained, too!

Want to know her special talent? She’s a kitty rescuer! She has a special heart for cats and kittens. On two different occasions, she has found a stray kitten who needed help!

Most recently, Ruby and her foster mom were walking in Longmont, and Ruby started digging in snow. Ruby uncovered a small kitten who was cold and hungry. That kitty is now part of Summit Dog Rescue Meowtain Division!

This very kind soul loves all people, attention, walks, playtime in the backyard and playing fetch with a ball. She almost plays soccer with her ball when she catches it on the ground. She enjoys giving kisses, meeting people and getting treats. She knows “sit” and is ready to learn new things, too!

Her dream home has a fenced backyard, lots of time with her people, snuggle time on the sofa and plenty of walks, balls and hikes.

Ruby is a true jewel. Don’t miss meeting this special girl! Apply today!

For more info and/or to apply to adopt Ruby, go to the top toolbar, click Adopt, click Dog Application;  then fill it out and send it in. A volunteer from Summit Dog Rescue will get back to you as soon as they can.
