Meet Nora
Update 12-2-23: Also check out Nora's Facebook Live video for more live-action fun!
Meet Nora!
This beautiful girl is a favorite of everyone who meets her, and someone will be very lucky to call her their heart dog. She's sweet, loving, wise and also calm after some fun adventures: a nice mix of up for fun, but also chill when back home. She's arrived here in the Boulder area and is currently in a foster home where she's getting lots of lovies, treats and snuggles!
She does well with everyone she has met.
Nora apparently showed too much interest in cats that ran, but is currently living with a senior dog and a badass big cat and is fine with both. She would enjoy playing with a nice dog... but respects that the senior dog in her foster home does not want to play.
Nora is a gem, and ready for a commited, loving home here in Colorado.
This sweet and loving girl was found by an out-of-state shelter covered with heavy mats from her head to the tip of her tail. She hadn't been groomed for quite awhile by whoever originally had her, and she was in a pretty sorry state. Some good shelter folks took her in, gave her a nice bath and shaved off all her mats, revealing a beautiful curly coat and a very happy girl.
Nora is about 1 year old and weighs 55 lbs. She's spayed, heartworm negative, and up to date on her doggie shots.
She's friendly with people and got along well with the other dogs at the shelter.
We think she might be a Standard Poodle mix, or maybe a Doodle cross breed of some kind. Our suspicion is that she was a breed dog, as another dog (who looks like Nora's possible twin) showed up at the shelter around the same time, and who was also badly matted.
Everyone loves her! She bonds quickly with anyone who scratches her ears.
For more info and/or to apply to foster or adopt Nora, send us an email at [email protected], telling us a bit about yourself, your home environment and your lifestyle. A volunteer will get back to you shortly. Thanks.
