Meet Leaf and River - adoptable as a pair - adopted
Meet Leaf and River! They're brothers from the same litter, and we're looking for adopters in the Boulder County area who can adopt both kittens together since they're so bonded.
Here's what River says: "I'm super smart, curious and active. There's nothing I'm not interested in, and I want to explore everywhere and everything. I can play happily by myself but love playing and wrestling with my brother, Leaf! I love getting petted and snuggling in my cozy blanket bed. I also love my cat tree and sitting in the sun. I like being held and stroked and like to snuggle/snooze on the couch with my fosters at night while they watch TV."
Here's what Leaf says (he's the 'baby' of the group): "I"m curious about everything and I want to be friends with everyone. I am happy in a group or playing by myself. I love playing with River and running all around our house. Soft 'fur-like' blankets are my absolute favorites. I, too, like snuggling with my fosters while they watch TV at night and I enjoy being held. When I go to sleep, I like my little fur animal toy to knead on. We both love all of our toys!
...and both River and Leaf say: "Warning! We are tech savvy and will use your computer at night! Our foster mom had to turn on her keyboard-lock to keep us out. Sad."
Summit Dog Rescue has found that having two kittens in a home is a good idea. They'll keep each other company when you're out of the house, and they can play all day and keep each other busy and stimulated - they'll never get bored.
These tiny tots are about 10 weeks old now and ready to go to a forever home.
Because they're still so small at only 3 lbs., SDR is saying, "No kids or dogs in the home, and Boulder County applicants only, please and thanks."
For more info and/or to apply to adopt these cuties, go to the top toolbar, click Adopt, click Kitty Application; then fill it out and send it in. A volunteer from Summit Dog Rescue will get back to you as soon as they can.
