Meet Kirby - pending adoption
Hi! My name is Kirby, but I like it when my foster mom calls me “Puppy-Puppy.” I’m about 2-3 years old and a total love bug. I love people and especially love men. I’m good with other dogs and have fun playing with them. I do well with cats, but they get kind of annoyed with me when I try to play with them.
I’m about 65 lbs., housetrained, crate-trained, walk very nicely on leash when wearing my Freedom harness, and ride well in the car. I know some basic commands and would enjoy more training, for the treats of course.
I’m a happy, silly boy who enjoys being outside with my people, playing in the snow, and going on long walks or hikes. People think I'm a Lab/Springer Spaniel mix, and that means I’m always ready for an adventure! I also like to hang out at home. In my downtime, I like snuggling while binge watching Netflix or lying quietly by foster mom’s feet while she works on the computer. I just like being near my people whatever they are doing.
Foster mom says her favorite thing about me is my soft fur and dreamy gold eyes. She says I look like a giant puppy and said something about my big feet.
I can’t wait to find my forever home! If you think I might be just the dog you’ve been looking for, go to the top toolbar, click Adopt, click Dog Application, then fill it out and send it in. Make sure you put on your application that you’re interested in me, Puppy-Puppy! A volunteer from Summit Dog Rescue will get back to you as soon as they can.
