Hi! I'm Josie! I'm brand new to Summit Dog Rescue and my amazing rescuers are learning more about me every day.
Here's what Summit Dog says about me: "Josie is a 5-year-old Border Collie/Lab mix who was found wandering in a park in rural Arkansas. She LOVES people and is great with other dogs and cats. She particularly seems to like children. She's housetrained, good in a crate and we are experimenting with leaving her free when she's home alone. She walks nicely on a leash... unless she sees a squirrel. She's mellow and sweet inside, but ready for some fun walks and hikes when outside. Spayed and vaccinated, weighing about 35 lbs., she's almost perfect; however she does have heartworm which we are treating. Apply now --- this gem is one of a kind!"
