Meet Isabella - adopted
Hi! I'm Isabella! People call me Isa for short, and that's pretty cool. I'm a real sweetheart and Summit Dog Rescue is looking for my forever home.
They're also doing a fundraiser for me if you know anyone who wants to donate toward my necessary orthopedic surgery. I broke my leg before Summit Dog Rescue found me and brought me to Boulder, and because I'm just a puppy it's important for me to get my leg fixed right away. Here's some info about me:
I'm about 4-6 months old, and they think I'm a mix of Lab and Aussie Shepherd. I haven't had my puppy shots yet, but that will take place very soon.
You'll see my broken back leg in some of my photos, and you'll also see I have some skin issues that the vet says is not mange, and that's good. They're thinking maybe it's malnutrition or some other cause, and I'm getting good treatment for that. My broken leg really hurts, so sometimes I need to be around really quiet people and quiet dogs until I can bounce back after my surgery.
Summit Dog Rescue is also looking for a great foster home for me - preferably in a quiet home with no boisterous dogs - with caring people who can nurse me back to health.
I have greenish hazel eyes, and I came from the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation where I was running around without food or medical care.
To find out more about me, go to the top toolbar, click Adopt, click Dog Application; then fill it out and send it in. A nice volunteer from Summit Dog Rescue will get back to you as soon as they can to give you updated info.
