Meet Garfinkel - orange tabby kitten! - adopted

Most adorable, adoptable Garfinkel kitten!

He’s four months old and learning the ropes as a loved feline. This little guy arrived last week and we think just had spent too long in a cage at an impound... lonely and not learning proper play skills. He's incredibly social and loving, but can get over-aroused and attack hands when playing. We're doing some intensive play therapy with him AND most importantly having him learn from a mentor cat (Lennon the big orange cat!). In just 48 hours we have seen big improvements in his play skills!

That being said, he needs a home with no kids and ideally a mentor cat (an older cat who calmly tolerates and teaches him). A cat savvy loving home would be ideal. He is such a muffin! We adore him and will hold out for the right home for Garfinkel.

Check out this cute video made by his foster mom.

Garfie is housetrained, and good with dogs and other kitties.

A huge preference will be given to Boulder area adopters so SDR can give support.

If you want more info and/or to apply to adopt Garfinkel, go to the top toolbar, click Adopt, click Kitty Application;  then fill it out and send it in. A volunteer from Summit Dog Rescue will get back to you as soon as they can.
