Meet Ellie - active and sweet!

Hellllloooooo Colorado! I just arrived from Arkansas, and I’m loving this new life here in the mountains!

My name is Ellie, and I can’t wait to meet my forever family. I’m a play machine and love to hang out with other dogs and romp and play. I’m a star at doggie daycare!

I’m a 4-year-old Border Collie / Lab mix, and I weigh about 45 lbs. I had my spay surgery, all my shots, I'm housetrained and microchipped!

I’m looking for a home where I can have lots of activity and snuggle time, too. A bonus would be to have another dog to play with and a fenced backyard, even if it’s small!  A meet & greet with any resident dogs would be needed to see how we get along, please and thanks.

Summit Dog Rescue says I'm active, snuggly, playful and intelligent!

My doggie superpower? Catching toys in the air! Check out my videos above to see me in action with my awesome foster moms!

I have another exciting thing to share:  I’m great with cats! I’ve also lived with kids, so I like them, too! My rescue family says they have a policy that kids have to be 6 and older, so that’s important to know.

Want to learn more about me? How about sending an application in? Let’s do this!

For more info and/or to apply to adopt me, go to the top toolbar, click Adopt, click Dog Application;  then fill it out and send it in. A nice volunteer from Summit Dog Rescue will get back to you as soon as they can.
