Meet Duke - adopted

Hi!  I'm Duke! I'm a friendly, wonderful big guy and I'm lookin' for my forever home.

I'm about 3 years old, so I'm the perfect combo of playtime and mellowness. I'm part Flat-Coated Retriever and part Newfoundland Dog, and that makes me a great big friend for someone special. You, maybe?

Here's what my rescuers have to say about me:

"Duke is an adorable and gentle soul who was found roaming on a rural road in Texas with another dog friend. He's underweight and will be about 80 lbs. when he reaches his ideal weight. He's friendly with other dogs, a tad shy with people, but by all reports a gentle soul. He’s up to date on his vaccinations and has been neutered.

"He's doing great in his current foster home with his sibling doggie pal and a beloved neighbor dog whom he plays with through the backyard fence."

Check out my videos above made by my human friends Jess and Casey! I love to play!

For more info and/or to apply to adopt me, go to the top toolbar, click Adopt, click Dog Application;  then fill it out and send it in. A nice volunteer from Summit Dog Rescue will get back to you as soon as they can.
