Hey everyone, I’m Claire! I just got my pics done and now you can see how cute I am!
I got rescued right before something called the 4th of July. I’m not sure why there’s one day that’s extra dangerous for dogs? But I was up for euthanasia and a bunch of SDR supporters helped fundraise to get me into boarding to save my life.
Boarding was OK - I got spayed and all my vetting and then got a really cool ride up to Boulder!
I really like Boulder and love my foster parents. They're kind and gentle. I'm kind and gentle too, so we fit! ❤️🐾 And check out the cool video above starring my awesome foster folks -- as you can see, I'm a wonderful girl!
I'm a young Heeler, though... so despite my gentle soul I am always up for adventure and love to hike and play. I go to daycare and I LOVE playing with other dogs there.
I also love hiking. I'm good with kitties -- I basically ignore them. I’m housetrained and good on leash. I'm reported to be great with pigs, llamas and donkeys -- who would have guessed!
I’m a gentle spirit and not a fan of loud stuff like brewpubs or crowds since I'm more of an open space kinda girl. But I'm also really playful once I get to know you. My mom says I'm "out of my shell" now that I've been here for a few weeks.
