Meet Charlie
UPDATE 3-15-24: Charlie is pending adoption.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Meet Charlie!
He's a 15 lb. nugget of cuteness looking for the right adopters. Second time is the charm? We are hoping so for this very deserving boy who didn't get a fair shake first time around.
Charlie is really a great dog. He's friendly, snuggly and loves treats. He enjoys walks and snuggling on laps!
Charlie loves people and does great with kids! He's fine with other dogs and plays with the dogs in his foster home, but he would also be fine being the only dog.
He is very snuggly and happy go lucky. Charlie will go into his crate on his own to nap when he wants to.
He's on one medication that gets mixed with his food in the morning (for his itchy skin), plus a probiotic chew and an Omega-3 to help his coat. Otherwise he's very easy to care for.
Charlie needs a home with people who don't work outside of the home much - he can be home alone for a few hours and does well being crated, but the people who adopted him as a puppy and had him for 6 years are gone 9 hours a day and recently returned him because he was struggling with the isolation.
His adoption fee is sponsored - $225 but we will require you be fully committed to this little guy and go through our screening process.
For more info about Charlie and/or to apply to adopt him, send us an email at [email protected], telling us a bit about yourself, your home environment and your lifestyle. A volunteer will get back to you shortly. Thanks.
