Meet Bunny - adopted

Bunny the Wonder Puppy was found by the side of a road in Oklahoma, and her amazing rescuer can't keep her. Bunny has found a local foster home in the Boulder area and is settling into her new life in the mountains.

Here's what her foster mom has to say:  "Bunny is a 4-month-old German Shepherd type. She is newly spayed and has had all her vaccinations. Great with kids, cats, and small dogs (seems nervous around big dogs at first but warms up). Well trained—sit, stay, down, come, shake, high-five, still working on roll over! Trained with positive reinforcement. She does not bark unless she’s being playful. She is crate- and leash-trained. Loves daily walks. LOVES camping and hiking. With training she appears to be the kind of dog that might be trustworthy off leash. SUCH an incredible dog."

Bunny will need to go to a home with at least one other friendly dog who can teach her confidence and also to be a playtime pal.

For more info and/or to apply to adopt Bunny, go to the top toolbar, click Adopt, click Dog Application;  then fill it out and send it in. A volunteer from Summit Dog Rescue will get back to you as soon as they can.
