Meet Blaze - adopted
Hi! My name is Blaze! I hail from Texas. To be exact, I was found living in a storm drain at a four-way traffic circle in Austin, TX, on a street where coyotes run through every night.
Luckily for me, when the lady saw me pop in and out of the storm drain, she saw how scared and emaciated I was and she set out to help me. I mustered up the best little desperate meow to let her know I needed help.
Since then, I’ve seen the doctor (I let them poke me and clean my ears without a problem!) and met five cats in my temporary Texas foster home. I’m fine with cats with a proper introduction.
I also had a chance to meet two large dogs who looks like bears! At first, I did a double take, I wasn’t sure what in the world they were! But an hour later, I was enjoying my canned groceries right next to their eating space. They are pretty quiet, so that’s nice. I’m not used to a lot of loud barking yet, but I acclimate to new experiences pretty easily.
I'm a really sweet boy, and my favorite toys so far have been the feather wand and the potent catnip-stuffed mouse. I love my wet groceries, but I also like kibble. I’m a half-on half-off kind of lap kitty. I like to snuggle up next to a leg or your head with half of me on you and half of me off... anywhere that’s cozy and safe, really.
I gotta go pack my bags. They tell me I’m flying up to Colorado soon!
I didn’t know cats can fly, but I trust my rescue mom.
For more info and/or to apply to adopt me, go to the top toolbar, click Adopt, click Kitty Application; then fill it out and send it in. A nice volunteer from Summit Dog Rescue will get back to you as soon as they can.
