Meet Blake
Hi! I'm Blake! I'm a super sweet and super gentle giant. They think I'm a mix of Lab & Great Pyrenees, and I'm one of the sweetest souls that the folks at SDR have ever met.
I love people, kids, kitties and other dogs. I'm learning my basic commands really well.
Did I mention I LOVE belly rubs and walks! Take me out on a walk and I'm a happy boy.
I'm 90 lbs... of love! I'm about 3 years old, housetrained, up to date on my doggie shots, neutered, and heartworm-negative. And check out my differently colored eyes - one is ice blue, the other a beautiful amber - that plus my great big smiles are tailor-made to cheer you up every day!
In the hot summer weather I love being inside. But now that fall is here, I love lying outside in the yard in the cool fall air for most of the day. When we had that surprise snowstorm a couple of weeks ago, the snow was really fun and fascinating!
Right now I'm getting healed of an ear condition that I had before I came to Summit Dog Rescue. And yay! It's clearing up and progressing well with daily cleanings.
My rescuers say they want nothing more than my life to turn around, and to find a loving family for me. Got my vote.
For more info and/or to apply to adopt me, go to the top toolbar, click Adopt, click Dog Application; then fill it out and send it in. A nice volunteer from Summit Dog Rescue will get back to you as soon as they can.
Also, SDR is looking for people willing to sponsor my medical care, even if they can't adopt me. For more info on sponsoring, send Summit Dog Rescue an email: [email protected]
