Hi! I'm Billy Ray! I'm brand new to Summit Dog Rescue and I'm totally having fun now!
I'm a unique mix of Beagle and Chihuahua, people think. Not sure how that happened but it makes me a kinda fascinating guy! I've got plenty of fun energy and I love to play -- so I'll need peeps who can take me for hikes and long walks and playtime with other dogs.
My best feature is my distinctive underbite with (maybe) the world's highest tooth.... or maybe it's my helicopter ears? my chocolate mocha coat and nose? my adoring looks when it's snuggle time? So hard to decide as people say I'm so darn cute.

Billy Ray was rescued off of the streets near a small town in Arkansas by one of the wonderful folks who are always ready to help a pup in need! Billy Ray was running down the side of a main road, and a nice man stopped his truck and this smart boy jumped right in, ready to head off to a new life!
"We're not quite sure what Billy Ray’s family tree might include, but we do know that this sweet, always happy and wonderfully cute boy certainly has the right mix that results in a unique and awesome pup!
"Billy Ray is fully vetted, neutered, microchipped and, happily, tested negative for heartworm disease. The vet thinks he is about 1.5 years old.
"His doggie superpower is his great big happy grin!
"Billy Ray has perfect house-training manners, absolutely loves other dogs of all sizes and considers everyone a potential forever friend! He really enjoys snuggling in any chair (he might even take over your favorite movie-watching spot on the couch), loves to sleep with you under the covers and generally is a big ol’ love bug. When snuggle time is over, however, this active and happy boy will enthusiastically join in on a game of fetch and a good romp around the yard!
