Are you ready for your summer romance? Meet tall, dark and handsome Beau. With his dreamy dark eyes and gentle demeanor, he is a true catch that will surely be the love of your life, if you're the lucky human or family who adopts him.
Beau is an adolescent boy --- possibly a Schnoodle (SchnauzerDoodle) --- in foster care in Boulder. He's a very sweet boy who enjoys time with his humans and dogs --- but he's also goofy and playful and needs adventure in his life.
Weighing in at 50 lbs., he's the perfect size for outdoor adventures and long nights of snuggling. He loves men and women equally and seems to be very happy meeting teenagers
Beau is playful but also loves to learn new things. He's dog friendly and good with the resident cats in his foster home but will chase cats that run. His foster mom says he has started to take walks in the neighborhood, and he's been very polite and well-mannered on leash. He's a good boy who loves the companionship of his humans --- all heart and sweetness.
He doesn't enjoy being home alone, so someone able to ease him into alone time would be great.
Beau would love hiking on trails and camping in the wilderness with his people... but he's also okay hanging in town.
Beau is housetrained, playful and joyful, and looking for a loving human to commit to him for life.
*Priority given to mountain home or more rural setting.
*No kids under 12 because he's big and jumps up to say hello.
*We require all our adopters to work with our behavior team to learn how to work with our dogs.
*Our adoption fee is $595 and includes a harness, a treat pouch, vetting, one training consult with our behavior consultant, ongoing support from our trainers, toys and whatever he loves in his foster home.
For more info and/or to apply to adopt Beau, please send an email to [email protected] telling us a bit about yourself, your lifestyle, where you live and why you think Beau would be a good fit (and vice versa). Or visit our website --- SummitDogRescue.org --- to learn more about our adoption process.
