Meet Little Bean!
This adorable and loving little Poodle mix puppy was found on a rural road in Arkansas with her Doodle family. Bean is very sweet, snuggly and also has lots of energy. She's about 4 months old! She has a huge heart, and the sweetest personality - always wanting to have physical contact with her person and following her foster mom from room to room. If you have time to snuggle and like adventures, Bean might be your girl!
Bean's relatives are midsized (50-75 lbs.) so she might turn into a big girl, but so far she isn't huge (20 lbs. at 4 months of age). She enjoys being with her humans, dog friends and cats, and also absolutely enjoys her fenced yard and toys. She will crack you up with her playful antics with her squeaky toys!
She's probably a Labradoodle or Schnoodle. She has been shaved, but she has long, gorgeous curls when it all grows out.
Bean is new to rescue and her life has been turned upside down. She was taken from her canine family and now is in a foster home in Boulder with a resident dog and 2 cats. Sadly in rescue, pups can't always stay with those to whom they are bonded. However, she seems so far to be a resilient little Bean and is loving life in Boulder, enjoying all her new toys and learning about housetraining, crate training and all the new sights and smells of a neighborhood. She has enjoyed making friends with all the resident animals in her foster home, and lots of snuggle time with her people -- much, much better than being in a shelter.
Bean's ideal home would have:
. A friendly resident dog to be her mentor and friend (not required, but very much preferred)
. A home close to Boulder so we can continue to support her adoption (not required but preferred)
. No young kids, because Bean needs to be the center of your world
. A fenced yard, or a rural property with no fence might suffice --- no townhomes or condos, sorry
. A human committed to working with her to carefully socialize her to our hectic Front Range world, working with one of the force free trainers on our list
Our rescue is run by trainers and behavior consultants, and we do require our adopters to learn about training and enrichment for the life of their dog.
For more info and/or to apply to adopt Bean, please send an email to [email protected] telling us a little bit about you, your lifestyle, where you live and why you think Bean would be a good fit and vice versa.
