Meet Banjo - adopted
Hi! I'm Banjo! I'm off the charts in terms of adorableness! Could it be because I'm just a puppy -- or maybe it's my sweet face? In any case they think I'm a baby Newfy/Bernese mix with a smidge of Lab.
My amazing rescuers are saying I'll do best in a home with another dog. That way an older dog can show me how to do important doggie stuff. But if you don't have another dog and are patient and loving... maybe we could fit?
I will need a home, focused on my needs, so no small kids please. I am learning to crate train, and working on my housetraining. A lot to learn in this human world as a puppy. I am doing great walking on leash... and really enjoy my walks. My biggest challenge is that strange dogs running up to me scares me, so I need to learn confidence around strange dogs (I love the dog friends I have).
Here's what Summit Dog Rescue has to say: "Strong preference given to Boulder county applicants. Banjo will thrive in a suburban or rural environment (he's currently doing great in North Boulder) so downtown urban applicants will probably not be a good fit. No apartments."
For more info and/or to apply to adopt me, go to the top toolbar, click Adopt, click Dog Application; then fill it out and send it in. A nice volunteer from Summit Dog Rescue will get back to you as soon as they can.
