Meet Ace
Hi! I’m Ace! and people tell me I look like a little black fox in socks! I’m 4 months old and just arrived at Summit Dog Rescue from Arkansas. There’s been a lot of change in my life but it’s not holding me back one bit! I am very playful but am also super sweet and gentle and pay attention to everyone around me. I loved my foster family in Arkansas and I already love my foster family here too!
The vet thinks I am a border collie mix and that I’ll grow up to be 50-80 pounds. I am neutered, current on my shots, and have been given heart worm preventatives and flea and tick protection.
I’m doing great on house training, I sleep through the night, and I'm learning basic tricks. I’m already pretty good on a leash. Even though I’m young, I’ve been exposed to lots of other dogs, adults and children, cats, and even pigs!
People are awesome and I love to be around them! I pad around after my foster mom like a little shadow and lie down near her when she sits down. When I’m outside, I love to run and run and run and could make someone an amazing running partner when I grow up!
My foster family tells me that my forever home is out there and that the people who adopt me will be the luckiest folks ever!
I've had some extra excitement in my life recently. My awesome foster family in Nederland, Colorado (near Boulder) had to evacuate their home because of a wildfire --- but the fire is now under control. And guess what --- I found the whole experience totally cool. That means I'm a real trooper!
If you want more info about me, go to the top toolbar, click Adopt, click Dog Application, print it out, fill it out, and mail it in! Someone from Summit Dog Rescue will get back to you as soon as they can.
