Meet Tuna
Meet Tuna!
This gorgeous big boy with a grey velvet coat has found his way to a great foster home in Colorado. He'll be happy to offer his bed-testing skills in trade for some love and stability.
We're not sure of his breed, but he may have a touch of Russian Blue or British Shorthair. All we know is, he's handsome!
Tuna is shy when meeting new people for the first time. We think he'd thrive in a quiet, calm and stable home with a loving and patient person. He was rescued from a feral kitty colony and understandably has limited trust in strangers, but an ear scratch and gentle face rub will go a long way in making lifelong friends with this sweet boy. He warmed up quite lovingly to the woman in Nebraska who originally rescued him.
A room he can sleep in by himself for a lot of the day would be great while he adjusts to being around people. He's just a sweet boy who needs lots of quiet time to reflect on his life and to learn that people are here to make him comfortable and loved.
Tuna loves catnip, toys and watching what's going on outside the window. If you have visiting squirrels or birds, we think he'd love that.
Other kitties in the house would be fine as long as they're friendly. For now we're saying no dogs or young kids in the house -- probably too much energy for this reflective boy. He really is a good kitty who deserves a wonderful home.
For more info and/or to apply to adopt Tuna, send us an email at [email protected], telling us a bit about yourself, your home environment and your lifestyle. A volunteer will get back to you shortly. Thanks.
