Meet Scruffy - adorable Terrier boy!

Picture
Scruffy photos courtesy of his awesome rescuers
This scruffy little guy just arrived in Boulder and is looking for a committed forever home. He is definitely a terrier, so terrier experience is bonus. He is a busy little guy who loves toys and hanging in luxurious dog beds, but he also is obsessed with bunnies.

We think he's a Shih Tzu / Wheaten Terrier mix. He is 23 lbs, 2 years old and housetrained.

He will require a super sturdy fence and a quieter environment (not a city environment as he is quite fearful of trucks and skateboards).

He will need a patient person who will help him get his feet on the ground here in Colorado. It has been a wild two weeks for him - being in a kill shelter, being neutered, transported up to Colorado. He needs decompression!

He is very smart and would love a home that would give him some training - he would love to learn how to work for rewards!

Ideal home is in Boulder County area due to Covid, but if you are a terrier person outside our area please email and explain your situation and we will consider you.

For more info and/or to apply to adopt him, go to the top toolbar, click Adopt, click Dog Application;  then fill it out and send it in. A volunteer from Summit Dog Rescue will get back to you as soon as they can.
