Meet Carmelita - courtesy post
Carmelita was found starving on the streets of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, with a huge mammary tumors, skin cancer, and little chance for survival. A guardian angel got her into foster care and paid for the needed surgery. She has subsequently been spayed, vaccinated, and given a clean bill of health.
Carmelita potty-trained herself from Day 1 and has been learning basic commands, including on and off leash walking. This loving and friendly dog would like nothing more than for you to scratch her belly, but she's cool with alone time, too. She can be left at home without a concern for your furniture and does well with humans and dogs of all ages, as long as they're not too intense ( the dogs, that is - she would do well with a confident, loving owner who will make her feel safe).
Logistics is the challenge, as she's still in Mexico, but we feel confident we can arrange transportation (we've done it before). Please help give Carmelita the life she deserves! Email Kyla to explore whether Carmelita would be a good fit for your home: kyladuffy1@gmail.com.
