Meet Moxey!

He's a
sweet, sensitive, and super cuddly 7-month-old, 35-lb. Jack Russell/ Pittie mix.

Moxey is pure puppy joy! He is fantastic with children and other dogs. He loves being with his humans, being outdoors, playing with food puzzles and trying to win at tug-o-war! He is fully potty trained.

He has been working with a trainer to address his fear & anxiety. His fear is of certain strangers and his anxiety stems from separation/abandonment.

He also has confinement fear so he cannot be crated. He will do best in a quieter home with another dog, whose guardians are committed to his trainings, and who are looking to welcome a huge snuggle bug into the family!

Moxey would do fine with a couple or person who has a lot of time and energy to walk him, go camping, and take him on trails. He’s very high energy so another dog in the home would help him with that, but so could a couple or person who has a lot of time to dedicate to meeting his needs.

Also, adopters will be required to continue training with his current trainer for at least two sessions.

Moxey’s adoption not only includes him being neutered, microchipped and up to date on all of his vaccinations/shots -- it additionally comes with a12-month supply of HeartGard, harness, leash, collar, personalized food & water stand, dog bed, Kong toys, treat pouch, food bin, and several other toys that he enjoys. We're saying No Cats in the household, please and thanks.
