Meet Mica - courtesy post

Picture
Meet Mica! She’s a fluffy and gorgeous 10-year-old medium-hair orange Tabby whose people are going through a lifestyle change, and now Mica is looking for a quiet forever home.

Mica has always been petite and generally weighs between 4.5 - 5.5 lbs. She’s spayed, microchipped, up to date on her kitty shots and veterinary care. A few years ago she had nine teeth extracted, but she enjoys kibble as well as soft wet food.

She’s very sweet and gentle, loves cuddles and your focused attention. She also loves lounging and sleeping on her cat tower or on comfy, soft areas like the back of the couch in a sunny window, or burrowing under a cozy blanket on the bed. She’ll snuggle on your chest and sit in your lap for extra cuddles, and at night she’ll sleep close by you if she can. She’ll enjoy sitting in front of a wood stove if you have one.

Mica loves being brushed and touched. She likes to go outside, and her adopters should know she’s only had outdoor exposure in the mountains — not around city traffic or noises. Her people say access to the outdoors is essential for Mica, so please note an apartment would not work for her needs. Adopters may want to consider installing a catio as Mica gets older, but that's not a requirement for adoption.

Mica will thrive as an only pet, and she’ll do best in a quiet household. An older, mellow dog who doesn’t bark a lot could work for her.

Again, her people say No Apartments for Mica, please and thanks.

For more info and/or to apply to adopt Mica, send an email of inquiry to SummitDogRescue@yahoo.com, telling us a bit about yourself, your home environment and your lifestyle. A volunteer will get back to you as soon as they can. Thanks.
