Meet Mia - courtesy post - adopted

Mia is a two year old Rottweiler German Shepherd mix. We are only taking a guess. She is a sweet girl who is so ready to live the good life. Mia weighs 80lbs. and is working on losing weight. She would be a great walking companion.

She comes from the streets in Texas and we are so happy we are able to make a positive difference in her life. Mia has been treated for heartworm & now has a clean bill of health. She has an old injury to a hind leg that has healed. It’s too late for repair but she uses the leg just fine. In old age she may need medication for arthritis.

Mia gets along well with people. She’s very sweet. She gets along with other dogs. How she is with cats is unknown. Mia is also house trained.

She is being fostered (short-term only) in Superior, CO, between Boulder and Denver. She needs a long-term foster home or better yet a forever adopter as soon as possible.

We'll update with new information as we get to know Mia better.

NOTE:    We are asking potential fosters and adopters to please have a fenced yard for Mia.
