Meet Juniper - courtesy post

Miss Juniper is the whole package; she’s sweet, smart & will keep you endlessly entertained with her silly antics. At 10 months old & almost 40 lbs, Juniper is VERY socially appropriate with other dogs, but she can be a bit overwhelming for pups that don’t enjoy playing with other dogs.

If you have another dog that loves to romp around, Juniper is the girl for you! She loves group play & would be a great candidate for any activities that include other friendly dogs.

Juniper is a typical vocal & high-energy herding breed, so she is looking to bond strongly with her new family through enrichment, outings & life-long reward-based training.  Juniper has lived successfully with lots of different types of dogs, but she would not be a good fit for a dog that does not enjoy playing or gets annoyed with puppies.  Juniper has lived with a cat, but keep in mind, as an adolescent, Juniper may play a bit rough or occasionally chase a cat.

Juniper is housetrained, enjoys her kennel (with lots of kongs & food toys), knows her way around a clicker & even knows a few cues such as 'High five', a hand target & both hand signals and verbal cues for 'Sit' and 'Down'.

Juniper has had positive encounters with children, but she would likely be better suited to a home with older children, as she is always ready for a good time & can be quite rambunctious. A home with a fenced yard would be ideal as Juniper can have trouble going potty when she’s on the leash.

This little love is current on all of her vaccinations, spayed, microchipped & heartworm negative. If you are looking to share your life and your furniture with an adorable & hilarious new best friend, give us a call about Juniper today!  Oh -- and check out her slideshow below!
