Meet Echo and Tala - courtesy post - adopted
Meet Echo (nickname Sketch) and his pumpkin-color sister Tala! These gorgeous 11-year-old kindred spirit Aussie Shepherd litter mates are looking for a home together, and are currently in an amazing foster home in Pinewood Springs, CO, near Lyons.
They were raised by an older man who recently needed to go into nursing care. He lived on a farm with lots of acreage, so Echo/Sketch and Tala are used to wide open spaces. They gained a bit of weight throughout life, so their foster mom has them on a weight loss diet with glucosamine to help them stay flexible.
Their foster mom says that inside the house they like to sleep, and outside they like fetch tennis balls, go for leisurely walks, and lie in the sun.
They're spayed and neutered, and up to date on their shots. They’re great with other dogs, cats are unknown, but their foster mom had two chihuahuas at the house and they were fine. Not sure how they'd do with kids, so for now we're saying No Kids, please and thanks.
More info about these great dogs will appear here soon. Although these pups are courtesy post dogs, please fill out a Summit Dog Rescue application and we'll make sure it gets to their rescuer. Adoption fee for the pair: $300.
For more info and/or to apply to adopt, go to the top toolbar, click Adopt, click Dog Application; then fill it out and send it in to SDR. A volunteer will get back to you as soon as they can.
