Meet Denali - big, sweet, and fluffy girl!
Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix
9 months old
Denali had a rough start in life. She was left by herself on a farm in New Mexico where she had little-to-no human or dog socialization. This had led her to be hesitant of other dogs. She use to cower at home, not getting very far off the ground and struck with fear. She also had never walked on a leash, so she can still be hesitant to go to unfamiliar places.
However, over the last couple months she has become quite the social butterfly! She loves humans and greets them with a wagging tail and lots of excitement.
This girl is looking for her forever home -- either on a farm where she can run around and herd or just a sweet family to receive lots of love. Although she is sweet towards humans, she has gotten into a couple dog fights regarding food and toys, so she should be the only dog in the home. She is extremely interested in cats, and will chase them but not harm them.
She is 9 months old and around 85 pounds. She is incredibly sweet to humans and loves to sniff and lick faces. Her favorite thing in the world is playing with toys and falling asleep in the snow. She is incredibly goofy and uncoordinated, and is so eager to please her owners. When this girl gets in play mode she loves to bound around and run around with her humans. Any toy with a squeaker really perks her up! She will tilt her head back and forth with an adorably puzzled look.
This sweet girl deserves her happy ending. She is filled to the brim with love and deserves nothing but happiness! We are looking for someone to directly home her instead of take her to the shelter.
