Meet Bones - courtesy post
UPDATE 7-15-25: Urgent ! Please share Bones! He is shelter bound without your help. Bones is a beautiful, wonderful dog who was rescued last year, in Texas, by the inspiring young man in the photos. (We need more young humans like him!)
Bones was facing death in an overcrowded Texas shelter… but Connor stepped up to foster him until a permanent home could be found. Conner brought Bones home to his fraternity house, where Bones thrived! Bones is universally outgoing and enjoys people and other dogs. Connor came back to Boulder for the summer, where Bones learned the joy of hiking! 🥾 But still could not find a home to take Bones. Connor is returning to Texas and his new place does not allow dogs. He now faces relinquishing Bones to a local shelter here. Connor is leaving the end of next week. If anyone can offer Bones a temporary foster or forever home - please contact us asap! Meet Bones!
Bones is looking for a forever home — Help save this sweet pup!
Bones is the most loving boy who needs to find a home in the next two weeks. He’s currently being fostered, but his foster needs to return to school in another state and can’t take Bones with him due to a strict no-pets policy at school.
Bones is a very charming 1-year-old, 54 lb. boy with a heart of gold! He’s thought to be an Aussie Cattle Dog mix with maybe some Husky -— but whatever he is, he’s a Really Good Boy.
Around other dogs, he’s a social butterfly! He often joins in with other dogs around him to greet and mingle. He’s a sweet and gentle soul and he likes participating in light play with his canine companions. He’s sweet and affectionate, often wagging his tail and welcoming other dogs who come near him.
His foster says he’s the most loving dog and has been the best pup anybody could ask for. He’s loving, affectionate and full of personality! He has puppy energy at times and loves to play, but he loves nothing more than to just cuddle up on the couch with someone.
He’s housetrained, knows his basic doggie cues, and just wants to be part of a family.
If you or someone you know is looking for a loyal companion, send us an email at [email protected], telling us a bit about yourself, your home environment and your lifestyle. A volunteer will get back to you shortly.
He’s a really sweet dog who deserves a second chance!
