Meet Basil Bay!
She's a cutie pie female Pug puppy, 18 weeks old, and about 7-8 lbs. She'll soon be up to date on her puppy shots and is currently too young to be spayed, so adopters will need to get her spayed when she's old enough.
She responds to "Basil" very well. She LOVES food, so food will be a very good training motivator for her. She loves all toys, tug-o-war, and fetch - in fact she loves all sorts of playtime. She's very interactive.
Currently in her home she's allowed on the furniture.
She's partially house trained and partially potty pad trained.
Because she's still a puppy she's going through a mouthy phase and is probably teething. SDR will require someone to do three training sessions for Basil Bay with a positive reinforcement trainer.
She's super talkative and verbal. She's very high energy (as puppies can be), and she needs consistency in her home life. She's really snuggly, loves to cuddle and be held a lot, and thrives on attention.
With other dogs, she's still figuring out who wants to play and who doesn't, so adopters will need to keep an eye out for her and other dogs in the home. Basil Bay is untested around cats, but she's a puppy and could learn. She loves people and kids. She's super smart, so with the right training and family with time and patience, she could be an epic family pet.
