Hi! I’m Sabin! I’m a one- to two-year-old male Malamute/Samoyed mix, and that makes me totally handsome and really special. I’m about 53 lbs., housetrained, soon to be neutered, and current on my doggie shots.
But the best part is, someone found me as a stray in Texas and some great people brought me here to Colorado, where I just got my first experience with snow! I love snow!
My warm brown eyes are gorgeous and I’m super fluffy —- not to mention I’m super sweet! Check out my great big smile!
In fact, I LOVE the ladies (both women and female dogs), and I’ve also played nicely with other dogs including male dogs at doggie daycare. I pull a bit on the leash but with practice I’m sure to learn better leash skills.
I ride great in the car. In my previous foster home I was exposed to littles (young kiddos) and I gave them lots and lots of kisses — but Summit Dog Rescue asks that any kids around me need to understand how to be respectful of doggie space.
They’re also saying “no cats” in my forever home, but that’s only because Summit Dog hasn’t cat-tested me yet.
As you can see in my pics below, I love carrying around my “baby” toy, and I can also jump up and dance! Another cool thing I can do is, when someone scratches my rear end, I call the call of my people and can do an amazing, inspiring wolf howl — after all, my remote ancestors did come from the Great North Woods!
I’m a diamond in the rough. Or should I say Ruff!
